The TCG Executive Search team meets with the key representatives of your organization to gain a deeper understanding of the organization and senior management team and glean your perspective on the business, culture, and “ideal candidate”.
Developing a Position Profile
We develop a detailed draft position profile for your open or newly created position. This document describes basic responsibilities, title, reporting relationships, skills, experience and education required to meet the organization’s ideal candidate profile and desired performance criteria. Upon the organization’s review, TCG Executive Search incorporates any feedback and finalize the position profile. We utilize the position profile to ensure the search is focused appropriately and to articulate the opportunity correctly to prospective clients.
Interviewing and Presenting Qualified Candidates
The TCG Executive Search team conducts original research to identify potentially qualified candidates. In addition, and in confidence, we utilize our database and network of colleagues to identify qualified prospects.
We conduct multiple, in-depth interviews with qualified candidates. Our team then reviews the slate of qualified candidates with your organization so that we may mutually determine candidates most appropriate for further consideration. Next, we prepare candidate profiles and conducts reference checks for all final candidates.
Finally, the TCG Executive Search team assists you in coordinating telephone and in-person interviews with final candidates.
Conducting Reference Checks on Final Candidates
The TCG Executive Search team conducts reference checks on final candidates by speaking directly with individuals who are, or have been, in a position to offer a perspective regarding a candidate’s on-the-job performance. Our team conducts both formal and informal references on candidates and presents them to you in writing.
Attracting the Preferred Candidate
The TCG Executive Search team will, at the organization’s request, assist in negotiating and making an employment offer to the selected candidate.
