Ron has over ten years of executive search experience complemented by several years of development fundraising for his alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley.
Ron began his career as a fundraiser for the University of California, Berkeley. His work focused both on core areas of fundraising such as personal solicitation of donors and proposal writing, and on other key components such as board/volunteer development, communications/publications and special events. Ron’s enjoyment of volunteer recruitment and development motivated his transition to the recruiting profession. He has spent the past several years recruiting for a variety of senior management roles in many functional areas of the non-profit, healthcare, real estate, financial services and technology sectors.
In the field of healthcare, Ron has recruited senior executives for development/fundraising, program development/social services and technology/information systems management roles. His background as a fundraiser adds strong value to the strategy and execution of executive search work in the non-profit healthcare sector. Ron possesses an intrinsic curiosity about the challenges and opportunities faced by leaders of organizations that are not only mission-focused, but also values-based.
